Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before operating the slow cooker.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use oven mitts or pot holders when handling the hot stoneware pot or lid.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the base unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from your slow cooker.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stoneware pot and tempered glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
- Assembly: Place the clean stoneware pot into the base unit. Position the hinged lid onto the stoneware pot.
Operating Instructions
Cooking Process
- Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the stoneware pot. Do not overfill; ensure there is at least 1 inch of space from the top rim of the pot to the food level.
- Secure Lid: Close the hinged lid. If transporting, engage the locking clips for a spill-proof seal. For cooking, the clips do not need to be engaged.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The touch display will illuminate.
- Select Heat Setting: Press the "Mode" button to cycle through the heat settings: High, Low, or Warm. The selected setting will be illuminated on the display.
- Set Timer: Use the + and - buttons to select your desired cooking time. Available timer options are 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours.
- Start Cooking: The slow cooker will automatically begin cooking after the timer is set. The display will show the remaining cooking time.
- Automatic Warm: Once the set cooking time expires, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the "Warm" setting to keep your food at a serving temperature. The display will show "Warm" and begin counting up the time spent in warm mode.
- Turn Off: To turn off the slow cooker at any time, press the power button (⏻). Unplug the appliance from the outlet when cooking is complete and before cleaning.

Using the Hinged Locking Lid
- The hinged lid allows for easy access to stir or serve food without needing to find a place to set the lid down.
- To open, simply lift the lid. It will stay upright on its hinge.
- For transport, ensure the lid is closed and press the locking clips on either side of the lid down until they securely engage with the base unit. This creates a spill-proof seal.
- To unlock, lift the clips away from the base unit.

Maintenance and Cleaning
