5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

The COBA CB-802 flashlight uses a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. If the battery is not pre-installed or needs replacement:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert the rechargeable battery with the positive (+) terminal facing towards the flashlight head.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To achieve a wide floodlight beam, retract the flashlight head backward.

7. Charging

The COBA CB-802 flashlight is equipped with a USB-C charging port for convenient recharging.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the flashlight body. It is typically covered by a rubber flap to protect against water and dust.
  2. Open the rubber flap.
  3. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight's charging port.
  4. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
  5. The digital display on the flashlight will indicate the charging status and battery level.
  6. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable and securely close the rubber flap over the USB-C port.

The flashlight can also function as an emergency power bank to charge other devices via its USB output port.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Cleaning

9. Troubleshooting
