This manual provides essential instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your VCYEX Smartwatch for Seniors. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper function and safety. This smartwatch is designed to provide communication, location tracking, and emergency assistance features for elderly users.
2. Package Contents
Please verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x VCYEX Smartwatch for Seniors
- 1 x Charging Cable
- 1 x User Manual (English)
Note: A 4G SIM card is required for full functionality and is NOT included in the package. Please prepare one separately.
3. Setup
3.1 SIM Card Installation
The smartwatch requires a 4G SIM card to enable calling, GPS tracking, and other network-dependent features. Ensure the SIM card is activated and has a data plan.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the smartwatch.
- Carefully insert the 4G SIM card into the slot as shown in the diagram, ensuring correct orientation.
- Close the SIM card tray securely.

3.2 Initial Power On
After installing the SIM card, press and hold the power button (usually located on the side) until the screen lights up. The watch will boot up and attempt to connect to the network.
3.3 App Pairing and Configuration
To utilize features like remote monitoring, GPS tracking, and setting emergency contacts, you will need to download the companion mobile application. Refer to the included manual for specific app details and pairing instructions. Once paired, you can configure:
- Emergency SOS numbers (up to three contacts).
- Geofence boundaries for safety zones.
- Medication reminders.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds, then confirm power off on the screen.
4.2 Making and Receiving Calls
The smartwatch supports 4G calls. You can make calls to pre-set contacts or receive calls directly on the watch.
- Making a Call: Navigate to the contacts menu on the watch screen and select the desired contact.
- Receiving a Call: When a call comes in, tap the green answer icon on the screen.
4.3 SOS Emergency Call
In an emergency, the SOS button provides quick access to help.
- Press and hold the dedicated SOS button (usually located on the side of the watch) for 3 seconds.
- The watch will automatically dial the pre-configured emergency contacts in sequence until one answers.
- An alert with the watch's location will also be sent to the emergency contacts via the app.

4.4 Fall Detection
The smartwatch is equipped with intelligent fall detection. If an accidental fall is detected, the watch will automatically initiate an emergency call sequence to the pre-set contacts.

4.5 GPS Tracking and Geofencing
Through the companion app, caregivers can monitor the wearer's location in real-time. You can also set up "safety fences" (geofences) which will trigger an alert if the wearer enters or exits a defined area.
4.6 Medication Reminders
Customizable text and voice reminders can be set via the app to prompt the wearer to take medication at specific times. The watch will ring to ensure the reminder is noticed.
4.7 Video Calls
The smartwatch supports 4G video calls, allowing for face-to-face communication with family members through its HD camera.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Charging
Connect the provided charging cable to the charging interface on the back of the watch and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included). A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

5.2 Water Resistance (IP67)

6. Troubleshooting
- Watch not powering on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- No network signal: Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated. Ensure your location has 4G network coverage.
- Calls not connecting: Verify that the SIM card has sufficient credit or an active plan. Check if emergency numbers are correctly configured in the app.
- GPS not accurate: GPS accuracy can be affected by environmental factors (e.g., indoors, dense urban areas). Ensure the watch has a clear view of the sky for best results.
- Fall detection not working: Ensure the watch is worn securely on the wrist. False positives or negatives can occur depending on the nature of the movement.
