3. Package Contents
Your sofa ships in 3 boxes, which may arrive separately. Please verify all components are present before beginning assembly.

4. Assembly Instructions
The HULALA HOME Modular Sectional Sofa features tool-free assembly. Follow these steps to set up your sofa:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Connect Seat Frames: Align the modular sections and connect the seat frames using the built-in component connectors. Ensure they snap together securely.
- Attach Backrests and Armrests: Slide the backrests and armrests into their designated slots on the seat frames. Press down firmly until they are fully seated.
- Place Cushions: Position the dual-layered seat and back cushions onto the sofa frame.
- Power Connection (for Electric Module): For the electric recliner module, connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Electric Recliner Function
The electric module features a built-in electric footrest for enhanced comfort. Use the remote control to adjust the footrest position. The backrest remains fixed for consistent support.
- Press the 'Up' button on the remote to extend the footrest.
- Press the 'Down' button to retract the footrest.
- Release the button at any point to stop the footrest in your desired position.

5.2 Modular Design and Configuration
The modular design allows for various layouts to suit your space. Sections can be rearranged to form different configurations such as 3-seater, L-shape, or U-shape sofas.

5.3 Hidden Storage Compartments
Each modular seat includes a hidden storage compartment. To access, lift the seat cushion. These compartments are ideal for storing blankets, pillows, or other household items.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning Instructions
The sofa features removable cushion covers for easy cleaning.
- Removable Covers: The cushion covers are machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills or stains on non-removable upholstery, spot clean immediately with a clean, damp cloth and a mild fabric cleaner. Blot gently; do not rub.
- Regular Care: Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris.

7. Troubleshooting
- Recliner Not Operating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the sofa and a working electrical outlet. Check for any obstructions around the footrest mechanism.
- Loose Modules: If modules feel loose, re-check the built-in connectors to ensure they are fully engaged.
- Squeaking Noises: Verify all connections are tight. If noises persist, contact customer support.
