4. Setup

Before first use, wash all detachable parts (jars, lids, blades) in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The motor base should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

General Assembly Steps:

  1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
  2. Select the appropriate container (blender pitcher, food processor bowl, grinder jar, or sport bottle) for your task.
  3. Attach the correct blade or disc assembly to the container's central shaft. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Add your ingredients to the container. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
  5. Securely place the lid on the container. For the food processor bowl, align the feed tube on the lid with the handle on the bowl.
  6. Place the assembled container onto the motor base. Twist clockwise until it locks into place. The appliance will not operate if the container is not properly locked.
  7. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The HoninJoy FP12 features intuitive one-touch presets and manual speed controls for various functions.

Control Panel Overview:

5.2. Ice Crushing

The powerful motor and sharp blades are effective for crushing ice.

  1. Place the chopper blade in the 2L food processor bowl.
  2. Add ice cubes to the bowl.
  3. Secure the lid.
  4. Use the PULSE function in short bursts until ice is crushed to desired consistency.

5.3. Dough Making

Use the 2L food processor bowl with the dough blade for kneading.

  1. Insert the dough blade into the food processor bowl.
  2. Add dry ingredients first, then liquids.
  3. Secure the lid.
  4. Select the DOUGH preset or use the PULSE function to mix until a dough ball forms.

5.4. Chopping and Pureeing

Use the 2L food processor bowl with the chopper blade for chopping vegetables, fruits, or making purees.

  1. Insert the chopper blade into the food processor bowl.
  2. Add ingredients. Cut larger items into smaller pieces to fit the feed tube if necessary.
  3. Secure the lid.
  4. Select the CHOP or PUREE preset, or use the PULSE function for controlled chopping.

  1. Add dry ingredients (e.g., coffee beans, spices, nuts) to the grinder jar.
  2. Attach the grinder blade base to the jar and then place the assembled jar onto the motor base.

5.6. Slicing and Shredding

Use the 2L food processor bowl with the reversible slicing/shredding disc.

  1. Insert the middle axle into the food processor bowl.
  2. Place the reversible slicing/shredding disc onto the middle axle. Ensure the desired side (slicing or shredding) is facing up.
  3. Secure the lid with the feed tube.
  4. Place ingredients into the feed tube and use the food pusher to guide them through the disc.
  5. Select the DISC preset or use a HIGH speed setting.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning Instructions:

  • Unplug First: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Dishwasher Safe Parts: All detachable parts (jars, lids, blades, discs) are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  • Hand Washing: For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. Exercise extreme caution when handling sharp blades.
