Setup

1. Adjusting Interpupillary Distance (IPD)

Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through the eyepieces. Bend the body of the binoculars at the hinge until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This adjusts the distance between the eyepieces to match the distance between your pupils.

2. Adjusting Eyecups (if applicable)

If your binoculars have adjustable eyecups (twist-up or fold-down), adjust them for comfortable viewing. If you wear glasses, twist them down or fold them down to bring your eyes closer to the lenses. If you do not wear glasses, twist them up or leave them up.

Operating

1. Focusing Your Binoculars

  1. Close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece. Rotate the center focus wheel until the image is sharp and clear.
  2. Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (usually on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp and clear.
  3. Now, with both eyes open, use only the center focus wheel to focus on objects at varying distances. The diopter setting should remain constant for your vision.

The large center focus knob allows for ultra-sharp focus, bringing distant objects into clear view.
