Model: Power Steamer Heavy Duty 3-in-1 Steam Mop and Handheld SteamShot

Introduction

The BISSELL Power Steamer Heavy Duty 3-in-1 Steam Mop and Handheld SteamShot is a versatile cleaning appliance designed for various surfaces. This device functions as an upright steam mop for sealed hard floors, an extended reach steam cleaner for higher or harder-to-reach areas, and a portable handheld steam cleaner for concentrated cleaning tasks. It utilizes powerful, high-temperature steam to effectively clean and sanitize, eliminating 99.9% of germs and bacteria without the need for harsh chemicals. This manual provides essential instructions for safe operation, assembly, use, and maintenance of your steam cleaner.

For optimal performance and to extend the life of your machine, it is recommended to use BISSELL Spring Breeze Steam Water, which also leaves a pleasant scent.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning Mop Pads and Attachments

  • Remove mop pads and machine wash them in warm water with mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Air dry or tumble dry on low.
  • Rinse plastic attachments under running water. Allow them to air dry completely before storing.

Draining and Storing the Water Tank

  • After each use, ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Store the unit in a dry, protected area. The included wall mount can be used for convenient storage.

Descaling (Mineral Buildup Removal)

Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the steam cleaner, especially if tap water is used. This can affect performance.

  • To descale, fill the water tank with a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water.
  • Run the unit in a well-ventilated area until the tank is empty.
  • Repeat with clean distilled water to rinse out any vinegar residue.
  • Perform descaling every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you notice reduced steam output.
