Operating Instructions

Boiling Eggs (Soft, Medium, Hard)

  1. Fill the measuring cup with the appropriate amount of water according to your desired egg consistency (soft, medium, or hard) and the number of eggs (1-3 or 4-6). The measuring cup has markings for guidance.
  2. Pour the measured water onto the heating plate of the base unit.
  3. Using the egg piercer located on the bottom of the measuring cup, gently pierce the large end of each egg. This helps prevent the eggs from cracking during cooking.
  4. Place the egg rack onto the heating plate.
  5. Carefully place the pierced eggs into the egg rack.
  6. Cover the egg cooker with the transparent lid.
  7. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. The LCD display will illuminate.
  8. Select your desired cooking mode (Soft, Med, Hard) using the control panel buttons. Adjust the number of eggs (1-3 or 4-6) if applicable.
  9. Press the start button to begin cooking. The timer will count down on the LCD display.
  10. Once cooking is complete, an audible alarm will sound, and the appliance will automatically shut off.
  11. Carefully remove the lid and eggs using oven mitts or tongs. Immediately rinse the cooked eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your egg cooker.

  1. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. The transparent lid, egg rack, poaching tray, omelette tray, and measuring cup are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water, rinsed thoroughly, and dried.
  3. Wipe the heating plate and the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. For stubborn mineral deposits on the heating plate, which are normal with water usage, you can use a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. Pour the solution onto the heating plate and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.
  4. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the appliance. Store in a cool, dry place.
