3. Installation Guide
The F2 Throttle Response Controller is designed for quick and damage-free installation, tailored for specific car models. Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the ignition key is removed before beginning installation.
- Locate Accelerator Pedal Sensor: Identify the electronic accelerator pedal sensor in your vehicle. This is typically located near the top of the accelerator pedal assembly.
- Disconnect Vehicle Connector: Carefully disconnect the existing wiring harness connector from the accelerator pedal sensor.
- Connect F2 Controller: Connect the F2 Controller's wiring harness inline with the accelerator pedal sensor. One end of the F2 harness connects to the vehicle's accelerator pedal sensor, and the other end connects to the vehicle's original wiring harness. Ensure connections are secure.
- Mount Display Unit: Find a suitable location for the TFT LCD display unit within your vehicle's cabin. Ensure it is easily visible and accessible for adjustments, but does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls. Use the provided zip ties to secure any loose wiring and the main module, ensuring they are away from moving parts and heat sources.
- Test Functionality: After installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition (do not start the engine yet) and check if the F2 Controller display powers on. Start the engine and test the accelerator pedal response in a safe environment.
