4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Attaching the Lanyard
Thread the thin loop of the lanyard through the hole on the side of the oximeter. Then, thread the thicker part of the lanyard through the thin loop and pull to secure it.

5.1 Taking a Measurement
- Open Oximeter: Press the top and bottom of the oximeter to open the finger chamber.
- Place Finger: Insert one of your fingers (preferably the index finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter, ensuring your nail is facing upwards towards the display.
- Press Power Button: Press the power button once to turn on the oximeter.
- Wait for Results: Keep your hand still. The device will automatically begin measuring and display your SpO2, PR, PI, and pulse waveform within 5-8 seconds.

5.2 Interpreting Readings
