4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the refrigerator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.

4.2 Placement

• Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface. Proper leveling is crucial for the efficient operation of the absorption cooling system.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, especially when operating on gas. Do not place it in an enclosed, unventilated space.
• Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, as this can reduce cooling efficiency.

4.3 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.

5. Operating Instructions

The refrigerator features a control panel for managing power sources and temperature. Familiarize yourself with the controls:

5.1 Operation on 12V DC

1. Ensure the thermostat knob (D) is NOT turned to AC mode.
2. Connect the 12V power supply cable to the refrigerator and your vehicle's 12V outlet.
3. The refrigerator will begin cooling. Temperature adjustment is typically not available in 12V mode, as it's primarily for maintaining temperature during transit.

5.2 Operation on 110V AC

1. Turn the thermostat knob (D) to the AC mode setting.
2. Connect the 110V power supply cable to the refrigerator and a standard wall outlet.
3. Initially, adjust the thermostat knob (D) to MAX and allow the refrigerator to operate for five hours to reach optimal cooling. After this initial period, you can adjust the thermostat knob (D) to your desired temperature setting.

5.3 Operation on LPG Gas

1. Ensure the thermostat knob (D) is NOT turned to AC mode.
2. Connect the LPG gas cylinder to the refrigerator following the manufacturer's instructions for the gas hose and regulator. Ensure all connections are secure and check for leaks using a soapy water solution.
3. Depress the safety valve button (C) and hold it down. While holding, press the piezo ignitor (A) repeatedly until the flame ignites.
4. Check the flame indicator (B). The pointer should move from the red section to the green section once the flame is lit.
5. Continue to hold the safety valve button (C) for a further 10-15 seconds after the flame is alight to ensure the thermocouple is heated and the flame remains lit.
6. Release the safety valve button (C) and re-check that the flame is still alight via the indicator (B).
7. Adjust the thermostat knob (D) to your desired temperature setting. Allow 6 to 8 hours for the refrigerator to reach the desired cooling temperature on gas.

IMPORTANT: Always ensure proper ventilation when operating on LPG gas. Never operate on gas in an unventilated enclosed space.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Always disconnect all power sources (12V, 110V, and LPG) before cleaning.
• Clean the interior regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Ensure the ventilation grilles are free from dust and debris to maintain efficient operation.

6.2 Defrosting

This refrigerator features automatic defrost. However, if a significant ice buildup occurs, manually defrost the unit by turning it off and leaving the lid open until the ice melts. Wipe away any water and dry the interior before restarting.

6.3 Long-Term Storage

If storing the refrigerator for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and the lid is slightly ajar to prevent odors and mildew.
