1. Introduction

The Fululuer 1200M WiFi Extender is designed to expand your existing wireless network coverage, eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones, and provide a stable, high-speed internet connection throughout your home or office. This dual-band repeater supports both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies, offering speeds up to 1200Mbps and compatibility with up to 108 devices. It features multiple operating modes, including Repeater and Access Point (AP) modes, to suit various networking needs.

3. Setup

3.1. Initial Power-Up

  1. Plug the Fululuer 1200M WiFi Extender into a power outlet near your existing Wi-Fi router.
  2. Wait for approximately 60 seconds until the Power LED indicator turns solid blue, indicating it is ready for configuration.

3.2. Configuration via Smartphone/PC

  1. On your smartphone, tablet, or PC, go to your Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Search for the network named "WiFi Repeater-XXXX" or "Repeater-XXXX-5G" (where XXXX represents the last four digits of the device's MAC address).
  3. Connect to this network. No password is required for the initial connection.
  4. Once connected, open a web browser and enter 192.168.11.1 or zalogin.cn in the address bar to access the setup page.
  5. On the login page, enter "admin" for both the username and password (default credentials).
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your desired operating mode (Repeater or AP) and connect to your existing Wi-Fi network by entering its password.
  7. After successful configuration, the extender will reboot. Reconnect your devices to the new extended Wi-Fi network (usually your original Wi-Fi name with "_EXT" or "_5GEXT" appended).

4.1. Repeater Mode

In Repeater Mode, the device extends the coverage of your existing wireless network. It receives the Wi-Fi signal from your main router and re-broadcasts it, effectively eliminating dead zones and extending your network's reach. This mode is ideal for covering larger areas where the main router's signal is weak.

4.2. Access Point (AP) Mode

In AP Mode, the device transforms a wired internet connection into a wireless access point. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the extender's Ethernet port, and the extender will create a new Wi-Fi network. This is useful for adding wireless capabilities to a wired network or creating a separate Wi-Fi network in a specific area.

5. Placement for Optimal Performance

Proper placement of your WiFi Extender is crucial for maximizing its effectiveness. The extender should be placed halfway between your main router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Ensure the extender receives a strong signal from your main router to effectively re-broadcast it. Avoid placing the extender in areas with no signal from the main router, as it will only repeat a weak or non-existent signal.

7.1. Slow Speed After Setup

If your internet speed is slower when connected to the extender compared to your main router, it might be due to improper placement. Ensure the extender is placed within the strong signal range of your main router, ideally halfway between the router and the desired coverage area. The extender can only amplify the signal it receives; if it receives a weak signal, it will re-broadcast a weak signal.

If you experience no signal in specific rooms or areas, it indicates that the extender's coverage does not reach those spots. Try repositioning the extender to a more central location or closer to the problematic area. Physical obstructions like thick walls, large appliances, or metal objects can significantly degrade Wi-Fi signals.

If the setup process fails, ensure you are connecting to the correct extender network (e.g., "WiFi Repeater-XXXX") and entering the correct password for your main Wi-Fi network. Double-check the default login credentials for the setup page (admin/admin).
