1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Yealink SIP-T85W Wi-Fi IP Phone. The SIP-T85W is designed for professional communication, featuring a 5.5-inch color LCD display, support for up to 16 SIP accounts, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. 4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Assembling the Phone

  1. Attach the Stand: Insert the phone stand into the corresponding slots on the back of the phone unit until it clicks into place.
  2. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled phone cord into the handset port on the phone unit and the other end into the handset.
  3. Connect the Network Cable: Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the INTERNET port on the back of the phone and the other end into a network switch or router.
  4. Connect to PC (Optional): If you wish to connect a PC through the phone, plug an Ethernet cable from your PC into the PC port on the back of the phone.

4.2 Powering the Phone

The Yealink SIP-T85W supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). A power adapter is not included.

4.3 Initial Configuration (SIP Accounts & Wi-Fi)

Upon first boot, the phone may prompt you for initial setup. Consult your VoIP service provider or network administrator for SIP account details.

  1. SIP Account Setup: Navigate to Menu > Features > Accounts on the phone's display. Enter the required SIP server address, username, and password provided by your service provider. The phone supports up to 16 SIP accounts.
  2. Wi-Fi Setup: Navigate to Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi. Enable Wi-Fi, scan for available networks, select your desired network, and enter the password. The phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4G/5G).
