Product Overview
The Pinty FFP LPVO Rifle Scope 1-10X28 is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring durability and reliability. It is designed to be waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, suitable for various environmental conditions.

Key Components:
- Ocular Lens: The lens closest to the eye.
- Diopter Adjustment Ring: Used to focus the reticle for individual eyesight.
- Magnification Adjustment Ring: Adjusts the scope's magnification from 1x to 10x.
- Battery Cap: Houses the CR2032 battery for reticle illumination.
- Brightness Turret: Controls the illumination intensity and color (red/green) of the reticle.
- Elevation Turret: Adjusts the vertical point of impact. Features a self-locking mechanism.
- Windage Turret: Adjusts the horizontal point of impact. Features a self-locking mechanism.
- Side Bolts: Secure the scope to the cantilever mount.
- Top Caps: Protect the turrets from accidental adjustments and environmental elements.
- Objective Lens: The front lens of the scope, which gathers light.
Setup
1. Mounting the Scope
The included cantilever mount is designed for 20mm Picatinny rails. Ensure the mount is securely fastened to your rifle's rail using the provided screws and wrench. The mount features four recoil lugs to maintain stability and zero under recoil. Position the scope on the mount to achieve optimal eye relief before tightening the ring caps.

2. Battery Installation
The reticle illumination requires one CR2032 battery. Unscrew the battery cap located on the brightness turret. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards. Replace the cap securely.
3. Diopter Adjustment
To ensure a sharp reticle image, adjust the diopter to your individual eyesight. Point the scope at a plain, bright background (like a clear sky). Look through the scope and quickly glance away. Then, look back through the scope and immediately adjust the diopter ring until the reticle appears crisp and sharp. Avoid staring through the scope while adjusting, as this can lead to eye strain.
Operating Instructions
1. Magnification Adjustment
Rotate the magnification adjustment ring to change the zoom level from 1x to 10x. The First Focal Plane (FFP) reticle ensures that the reticle size scales with the magnification, maintaining accurate holdovers and ranging at all zoom levels.

2. Reticle Illumination
The scope features a red and green illuminated reticle with 5 brightness levels for each color. Rotate the brightness turret to select your desired color and intensity. This feature enhances visibility in low-light conditions or against dark backgrounds.
3. Windage and Elevation Adjustment
The windage and elevation turrets are self-locking to prevent accidental adjustments. To make an adjustment, gently pull the turret upwards. You will feel a tactile click. Rotate the turret to adjust the point of impact. Each click represents a specific change in MOA (Minute of Angle). Once adjusted, push the turret back down to lock it in place. The turrets can be reset to zero after sighting in by loosening the small Allen screw on the turret and realigning the '0' mark.

4. Parallax Adjustment
The parallax adjustment is located on the objective end of the scope. Rotate this ring to eliminate parallax error, which occurs when the reticle appears to shift relative to the target as your eye moves. Adjust until the reticle and target remain stationary relative to each other when you slightly move your head.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and performance of your scope.
- Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cleaning Body: Wipe the scope body with a soft, damp cloth.
- Storage: Store the scope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the lens covers to protect the lenses when not in use.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 battery when the reticle illumination dims or stops working.

The scope features fully multi-coated green lenses, which optimize light transmission and provide clear, high-contrast views. Proper cleaning helps maintain this optical quality.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your scope, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Blurred Reticle: Adjust the diopter ring until the reticle is sharp.
- Blurred Target Image: Adjust the magnification and parallax settings. Ensure the objective lens is clean.
- Reticle Illumination Not Working: Check if the CR2032 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace the battery if necessary.
- Point of Impact Shifts: Ensure the scope mount and ring caps are securely tightened. Verify that the self-locking turrets are pushed down after adjustment.
- Fogging: The scope is nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging. If external fogging occurs, wipe the lenses with a dry, soft cloth.
