1. Introduction

The Mocagen MC2 Max is a versatile sliding controller designed for Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, and smartphones (iPhone/Android). Its retractable design and advanced Hall Effect technology provide a comprehensive gaming solution, eliminating the need for multiple controllers. This controller supports various platforms and offers features for an enhanced gaming experience.

It is compatible with cloud and mobile handheld games, including Xbox Game Pass, Steam Link, GeForce NOW, and Apple Arcade (excluding PS Remote Play). It is suitable for popular titles such as Call of Duty Mobile, Roblox, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact.

The controller features dynamic multi-color lighting to enhance the gaming atmosphere and is designed with a comfortable grip for extended play sessions without hand fatigue.

2. Setup and Connectivity

2.1. Initial Power On

To power on the controller, press and hold the Home button located on the controller.

2.2. Connecting to Nintendo Switch (Switch 1/OLED)

For Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED consoles, press the HOME button on the controller for 3 seconds to initiate connection. Note: On Switch 2 consoles, the wake-up function and C button may not be available.

2.3. Connecting to iOS & Android Devices

To pair with iOS or Android smartphones, press and hold the B + HOME button simultaneously for 3 seconds. Then, select the controller from your device's Bluetooth pairing menu.

2.4. Tri-Mode Connectivity

The controller supports three connectivity modes:

• Wireless: For mobile and Switch devices.
• Wired: For PC connectivity via USB Type-C.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Adjustable RGB Effects

The controller features customizable RGB lighting with 7 modes and 4 adjustable brightness levels. To cycle through RGB modes or adjust brightness, refer to the specific button combinations in the Keylinker App or the quick start guide.

To turn off the RGB lights, hold the 'M' button and press the right direction on the D-pad multiple times until the lights deactivate.

3.2. Programmable Back Buttons

The controller includes two programmable back buttons (ML/MR) that can be assigned complex command combinations (up to 21 keys) for faster reactions in games. This feature is particularly useful for shooter, FPS, and RPG games.

To enter programming mode, press and hold the 'M' button along with either the 'ML' or 'MR' button. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the Keylinker App for detailed programming steps.

3.3. Analog Triggers with Toggleable Speed

The analog triggers can be switched to a high-speed mode (M+LT/RT) for enhanced responsiveness, especially beneficial in shooting games requiring rapid-fire actions. This feature offers 256-level precision and a response time of less than 0.1ms.

3.4. Turbo Function

3.5. Keylinker App Integration

4.1. Charging

The controller can be fully charged within 2 hours, providing up to 18 hours of playtime. Use the provided USB Type-C cable for charging. Ensure the controller is connected to a compatible power source.

4.2. General Care

To maintain optimal performance and longevity of your controller:

• Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the controller to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Store the controller in a safe place to prevent physical damage.
• The Hall Effect joysticks are designed to prevent drift and wear, requiring minimal maintenance in this regard.

5.1. Connectivity Issues

If the controller fails to connect to your device:

• Ensure the controller is fully charged.
• Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
• Repeat the pairing process as described in Section 2.
• If connecting to a Switch, ensure the console's software is up to date.
• For PC, ensure necessary drivers are installed if using wired connection.

5.2. Button or Joystick Malfunction

If buttons or joysticks are not responding correctly:

• Use the Keylinker App to check and adjust joystick dead zones or button mappings.
