The OBX Electric Scooter is designed for adults and teens, featuring a 350W motor, a top speed of approximately 19 MPH, and a range of 12-18 miles. It includes 8.5-inch solid tires, app control, and a dual brake system for a reliable and convenient commuting experience.

2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to local traffic laws and regulations. Wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding. Ensure you understand all controls before operating the scooter.

General Safety Guidelines:

  • Always wear a helmet and other protective gear.
  • Do not ride in heavy rain or through puddles deeper than 0.8 inches (2 cm).
  • Avoid riding on slippery surfaces, loose gravel, or uneven terrain.
  • Maintain a safe distance from other vehicles and pedestrians.

4. Setup

Unfolding the Scooter:

The OBX Electric Scooter features a one-step folding mechanism for easy transport and storage. To unfold:

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Release the folding latch located near the base of the handlebar stem.
  3. Lift the handlebar stem until it locks securely into the upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged.
  4. Adjust the handlebar height if necessary.

Initial Charging:

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The charging time is approximately 6 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

  • To power on: Press and hold the power button on the handlebar until the LED display illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the power button until the display turns off.

Start-up Methods:

The scooter offers two start-up methods:

  • Electric Start-up Mode: Simply press the accelerator to engage the motor.
  • Gliding Start-up Mode (Zero Start): This mode requires a slight push-off with your foot before the accelerator engages. This setting can be enabled or disabled via the companion app.

Riding Modes:

The scooter typically offers multiple riding modes (e.g., Eco, Drive, Sport) which can be selected via the LED display or the app to adjust speed and power output.

Cruise Control:

Activate cruise control through the app. Once activated, maintain a consistent speed for a few seconds, and the scooter will hold that speed. To disengage, lightly press the brake or accelerator.

LED Display:

The integrated LED display shows real-time information including current speed, selected speed mode, battery level, and cruise control status.

Tire Care:
