1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ANJIELO SMART Wired Video Apartment Intercom System. This system is designed for multi-unit dwellings, featuring one outdoor doorbell camera and multiple indoor monitors for visual communication and access control.

Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. It is recommended to consult a qualified electrician for complex wiring.

4.1 System Overview

The system consists of one outdoor doorbell unit and multiple indoor monitor units. Each indoor monitor operates independently, allowing residents to view and communicate with visitors without disturbing other units.

4.2 Component Dimensions

4.3 Installation Steps

  1. Mount the Outdoor Doorbell:

    Select a suitable location near the entrance, ensuring it is within reach of wiring and at an appropriate height for visitors. The doorbell is designed for flush-mounted installation. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the unit. Ensure the unit is protected from direct heavy rain, although it is IP55 waterproof.

  2. Mount Indoor Monitors:

    Choose a convenient location inside each apartment unit for the monitor. The monitors are designed for surface mount installation. Secure them using the provided hardware.

  3. Wiring Connections:

    Each indoor monitor must be connected to the outdoor doorbell unit using a 4-pin cable. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly aligned. The system is wired, providing a stable connection.

  4. Power Connection:

    Each indoor monitor requires a power connection. Connect the provided DC 15V 1.2A power adapter to each monitor and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

  5. Electronic Lock Integration (Optional):

    If integrating an electronic lock, a separate power controller is required to manage the lock's operation. Connect the lock and controller according to their respective manuals and integrate with the intercom system's unlocking function.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Receiving a Call

  1. When a visitor presses the call button on the outdoor doorbell, the indoor monitor(s) will activate and display the external environment.
  2. To answer the call, press the Answer button on the monitor.
  3. Engage in two-way audio communication with the visitor.
  4. To end the call, press the Answer button again. The monitor will automatically close after 60 seconds if no action is taken or after the conversation ends.

5.2 Monitoring the Outdoor Environment

You can view the outdoor environment at any time without a visitor pressing the doorbell. Simply press the Monitor button on your indoor unit to activate the camera feed.

5.3 Unlocking the Door

If an electronic lock is connected and configured, you can unlock the door directly from your indoor monitor.

  1. During an active call or while monitoring, press the Unlock button on the monitor.
  2. The electronic lock will disengage, allowing the visitor to enter.

5.4 Night Vision

The outdoor doorbell is equipped with an automatic night vision function. In low light conditions, the infrared LEDs will activate, providing a clear black and white image of the visitor.

5.5 Monitor Controls

The indoor monitor features touch keys for various functions and system settings.

  • Up/Increase Button: Used to adjust parameters (e.g., volume, brightness) or navigate menus.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the outdoor doorbell and indoor monitors. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Outdoor Unit Protection: While the outdoor unit is IP55 waterproof, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at it. Regularly check for any debris obstructing the camera lens or microphone/speaker.
  • Wiring Inspection: Periodically inspect all wiring connections for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
  • Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates for your system.

7. Troubleshooting
