4. Camera Overview

Familiarize yourself with the camera's physical components:

Front View

  • Lens: Captures images and videos.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Locate the USB-C port on the camera.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the camera and a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color when charging is complete.

5.2. Inserting the Micro SD Card

  1. Open the battery/SD card compartment cover on the bottom or side of the camera.
  2. Insert the provided 64GB Micro SD card into the slot with the metal contacts facing the front of the camera, until it clicks into place.
  3. Close the compartment cover securely.

5.3. Initial Power On and Language Setting

  1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the camera.
  2. Upon first use, you may be prompted to set the language, date, and time. Use the navigation buttons to select your preferences and press the OK button to confirm.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1. Basic Photo Shooting

  1. Turn on the camera. Ensure the mode dial is set to photo mode (usually indicated by a camera icon).
  2. Frame your shot using the 2.83-inch IPS display.
  3. Press the shutter button halfway down to activate autofocus (AF). The focus frame will turn green when focus is achieved.
  4. Press the shutter button fully down to capture the photo.

6.2. Video Recording (5K)

6.3. Zoom Function (18x Optical Zoom)

Use the W (Wide) and T (Telephoto) levers around the shutter button to adjust the 18x optical zoom. Press T to zoom in on distant subjects and W to zoom out for a wider view.

6.4. Autofocus (AF)

The camera features AF autofocus. In photo mode, press the shutter button halfway to allow the camera to automatically focus on your subject. A green frame indicates successful focus.
