This light features adjustable color temperatures, brightness levels, motion sensing capabilities, and a rechargeable battery for versatile illumination of your artwork or spaces.

Setup

Mounting the Picture Light

The RIRIBEN Picture Light offers two primary mounting options: permanent screw-in installation or temporary magnetic attachment using an adhesive metal plate.

  1. Screw-in Installation:
    a. Select a suitable location on the wall above your artwork. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
    b. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall. Drill pilot holes if necessary.
    c. Once the bracket is secure, attach the picture light to the bracket. The light bar is magnetically detachable from its base for easy charging.

  2. Magnetic Attachment (for cabinet light use):
    a. For alternative uses, such as under-cabinet lighting, an adhesive metal plate is included.
    b. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive metal plate.
    c. Stick the plate firmly to a clean, dry surface where you wish to use the light.
    d. The picture light can then be magnetically attached to this plate.

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the picture light using the provided USB-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the light and a 5V 2A power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show progress.

Operating Instructions

The RIRIBEN Picture Light can be controlled via its integrated touch buttons or the included remote control.

Power On/Off

  • Touch Control: Press the power button on the light bar.
  • Remote Control: Press the power button on the remote.

Adjusting Color Temperature

The light offers 3 color temperatures: Warm White (2700K), Natural White (4000K), and Cool White (6000K).

  • Touch Control: Press the color temperature button to cycle through the options.
  • Remote Control: Use the dedicated color temperature buttons (e.g., Sun icon for Warm, Snowflake icon for Cool) or cycle button.

Adjusting Brightness

The light has 5 brightness levels (0% to 100%).

  • Touch Control: Press and hold the power button to dim or brighten.
  • Remote Control: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease brightness.

Operating Modes: Always-On & Motion Sensor

The picture light features two operational modes:

  • Always-On Mode: Provides continuous illumination for showcasing art or general lighting.
  • Motion Sensor Mode: The light automatically turns on when motion is detected within its range (0-236 inches, 120° detection angle) and turns off after 30 seconds of no motion. This mode is energy-efficient and ideal for hallways or areas where light is only needed intermittently.

Timer Function

The light includes 30, 60, and 120-minute timer options to conserve battery life.

The picture light remembers your last brightness and color temperature settings for convenient, seamless operation upon reactivation.

Flexible Angle Adjustment

The light features a flexible gooseneck arm, allowing you to adjust the angle of illumination to best highlight your artwork or desired area.

Maintenance

Charging the Battery

The picture light is equipped with a 9000mAh rechargeable battery. To charge, detach the magnetic light bar from its base and connect the USB-C charging cable. A full charge takes approximately 5-6 hours using a 5V 2A adapter. Battery life varies by mode and brightness:

  • Always-On Mode: 13 hours (max brightness) to 50 hours (low brightness).
  • Motion Sensor Mode: 25-30 days (based on 50 activations per day).

Cleaning

To clean the picture light, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or electronic components. Ensure the light is powered off before cleaning.

Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check if the power button was pressed correctly.
  • Motion sensor not working: Verify the light is in motion sensor mode. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the sensor.
  • Remote control not responding: Check the remote's battery. Ensure there is a clear line of sight to the light's receiver.
  • Light flickering or dim: Recharge the battery.
