Setup Instructions

The Naturehike Ango tent features a pre-attached pole design and an automatic frame, allowing for quick setup. It can be set up by one person in approximately 3 seconds.

  1. Unpack the Tent: Remove the tent from its carry bag and lay it flat on a clear, level surface.
  2. Extend the Poles: The poles are pre-attached. Gently pull the tent upwards from the center hub. The automatic frame will begin to expand.
  3. Lock the Frame: Once the tent is mostly upright, pull on the lower sections of the poles with both hands to fully extend and lock them into place. Ensure all joints are securely locked.
  4. Secure with Stakes: Use the provided stakes to secure the tent corners and guy lines to the ground. This provides stability, especially in windy conditions.
  5. Attach Tent Roof (Optional): For additional weather protection and UV blocking, attach the separate tent roof. Secure it over the main tent structure using the integrated hooks or ties.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance extends the life of your tent and ensures optimal performance.

  • Cleaning: Clean the tent with a soft brush or sponge and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Storing a damp tent can lead to mildew and fabric degradation. Air dry in a shaded area.
  • Storage: Store the tent in its carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Pole Care: Inspect poles for damage or bending before and after each use. Clean any dirt from the pole joints.
  • Fabric Care: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use, as UV rays can degrade fabric over time.

Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Condensation Inside Tent: Ensure proper ventilation by opening windows or vents. Condensation is natural when warm, moist air meets cooler surfaces.
  • Tent Instability in Wind: Always use all provided stakes and guy lines. Ensure guy lines are taut and properly anchored. Position the tent with the narrowest side facing the wind if possible.
  • Difficulty Packing Tent: Ensure all air is expelled from the tent before folding. Follow the reverse steps of setup, carefully folding the fabric around the collapsed poles to fit into the carry bag.
  • Water Leakage: Check for any tears or punctures in the fabric. Ensure the tent roof is properly installed and secured. Seam sealant can be applied to reinforce seams if necessary.
