Setup

1. Installing the CO2 Cartridge

The Beeman Protect BP50 utilizes a 12-gram CO2 cylinder for power, featuring CO2 Pierce Technology for quick activation. Ensure the device is unloaded and the safety is engaged before proceeding.

  1. Locate the CO2 cartridge compartment at the base of the grip.
  2. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the grip.
  3. Insert a 12-gram CO2 cylinder into the compartment with the narrow end facing upwards.
  4. Screw the cap back on firmly. The CO2 Pierce Technology allows for tool-free quick activation. To activate the CO2, firmly strike the bottom of the grip against a hard surface or press the cap in until you hear the CO2 cartridge being pierced. This prepares the launcher for firing.
