3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Jump Starter

Before initial use, fully charge the giatero Q27B unit. It is recommended to fully charge the device every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even when not in use.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the input port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included) or a car charger.
  3. The digital display will indicate the charging status and battery percentage. Charge until the display shows 100%.

4. Operation

4.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Use this function to start vehicles with a dead battery. Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged.

  1. Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories.
  2. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  4. Plug the smart jumper cable connector into the jump starter's port. The jump starter will perform a self-check. Wait for the indicator light on the smart clamp to turn solid green.
  5. Start the vehicle's engine.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the smart jumper cable from the jump starter, then remove the black (-) clamp, followed by the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.

4.2 Using the Air Inflator

The integrated air inflator can be used for tires, sports equipment, and other inflatables.

  1. Connect the air inflator hose to the designated port on the jump starter.
  2. Attach the appropriate nozzle adapter to the hose and securely connect it to the item you wish to inflate (e.g., tire valve).
  3. Turn on the jump starter. Use the 'M' button to select the desired pressure unit (PSI, BAR, KPA). Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the target pressure.
  4. Press the power button to start inflation. The inflator will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
  5. Disconnect the hose and store the unit.

4.3 Charging USB Devices

The unit can act as a power bank for your electronic devices.

  1. Connect your USB device's charging cable to one of the USB output ports on the jump starter.
  2. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
  3. Disconnect your device once charging is complete.

4.4 Using the LED Flashlight

The built-in LED flashlight offers multiple lighting modes for various situations.

  1. Illumination: Long press the power button to turn on the flashlight.
  2. SOS Mode: With the flashlight on, short press the power button to cycle to SOS mode (flashing three short, three long, three short pulses).
  3. Strobe Mode: Short press the power button again to cycle to strobe mode (rapid flashing).
  4. Turn Off: Long press the power button to turn off the flashlight from any mode.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your giatero Q27B.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Charging: Recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not used, to prevent deep discharge and extend battery life.
  • Accessory Care: Keep jumper clamps and inflator hose clean and free of debris. Inspect for damage before each use.
