Product Overview
The JOYUSING Flip600S is designed for high-quality video communication. It features a 4K resolution sensor, PDAF autofocus, noise-cancelling microphones, and automatic light correction.

Setup
1. Connecting the Webcam
- Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the USB-C port on the webcam.
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer. If your computer only has USB-C ports, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter.
- The webcam is plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers for basic functionality on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.

2. Mounting the Webcam
- On a Monitor/Laptop: Open the flexible mounting clip and place it securely on top of your monitor or laptop screen. Adjust the angle to ensure the webcam is stable and facing you. The internal rubber padding provides secure adhesion and protects your device.
- On a Tripod: Screw the webcam onto the included mini tripod or any standard 1/4-inch tripod using the tripod mount located at the bottom of the webcam's base.

3. Initial Software Configuration
Once connected, your operating system should automatically recognize the webcam. You may need to select the "JOYUSING Flip600S" as your preferred camera and microphone in your video conferencing application (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Skype) or system settings.
Important: To utilize the full 4K resolution, ensure your operating system's camera settings or the application you are using is configured to output at 2160p (4K). Some applications or system defaults may initially select a lower resolution like 1080p.
Operating Instructions
1. Video and Audio Features
- 4K Resolution: The webcam captures video at 4K (3840x2160) resolution at 30 frames per second (FPS), providing clear and detailed images. It also supports 1080p at 60 FPS for smoother motion.
- PDAF Autofocus: The Phase Detection Autofocus system ensures fast and accurate focusing, keeping you sharp even if you move within the frame. The fixed focus range is 0.65-10 ft.
- Automatic Light Correction: The webcam automatically adjusts to various lighting conditions, ensuring you are well-lit even in low-light environments.
- Noise-Cancelling Microphones: Equipped with dual high-performance microphones that filter out background noise, ensuring your voice is clear during calls.

2. Privacy Cover
The webcam includes a built-in privacy cover. To activate it, simply flip the cover down over the lens. This provides a physical barrier to ensure your privacy when the webcam is not in use.

3. Document Camera Mode
The Flip600S can be used as a document camera. Its flexible design allows you to adjust the camera angle to point downwards at documents or objects on your desk. This feature is useful for presentations, online teaching, or sharing physical materials during a call.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for camera lenses to gently wipe the lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the body of the webcam with a soft, dry cloth.
- Storage: When not in use, store the webcam in a clean, dry place. Use the privacy cover to protect the lens from dust and scratches.
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the webcam to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
Troubleshooting
- Q: The webcam is not detected by my computer.
- A: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the webcam and your computer. Try plugging it into a different USB port. Restart your computer if necessary.
- Q: The video quality is not 4K.
- A: Check the settings within your video conferencing application or your operating system's camera settings. Ensure that 2160p (4K) resolution is selected. Some applications may default to lower resolutions.
- Q: The audio is unclear or has background noise.
- A: Ensure the JOYUSING Flip600S is selected as the microphone input in your application settings. Speak clearly and ensure you are within a reasonable distance from the webcam. While the webcam has noise-cancelling features, excessive background noise may still be picked up.
- Q: The autofocus is not working correctly.
- A: Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the lens. The PDAF autofocus works best within its specified range (0.65-10 ft). Ensure adequate lighting for optimal performance.
