Important Safety Information

• Read all instructions before using the kettle.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or power base in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the 'MAX' line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Power Base Connection: Place the power base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
4. Kettle Placement: Place the kettle securely onto the power base. The cordless design allows for 360-degree rotation.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Kettle: Press the button on the handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh water, ensuring the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks indicated inside the kettle. Close the lid securely.
2. Placing on Power Base: Place the filled kettle onto the power base.
3. Power On: Press the Power button (ⓔ) on the control panel. The LED display will illuminate, showing the current water temperature.
4. Selecting Temperature Presets:
   Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 preset temperatures:
• 104°F (40°C): Ideal for formula milk.
• 158°F (70°C): Recommended for flower tea or delicate herbal teas.
• 176°F (80°C): Perfect for green tea, preserving its aroma and reducing bitterness.
• 194°F (90°C): Optimal for coffee, including pour-over and French press methods.
• 212°F (100°C): For boiling water, suitable for black tea, oolong tea, or instant foods.

5. Fast Boil Function: Alternatively, press the 'BOIL' button for rapid heating to 212°F (100°C). The kettle will automatically shut off once boiling is complete.

6. Keep Warm Function: After selecting a desired temperature, press the 'HOLD' button. The kettle will maintain the selected temperature for up to 2 hours. This is useful for multiple servings without re-boiling.
7. Auto Shut-Off & Boil-Dry Protection: The kettle automatically turns off once the set temperature is reached or if it detects no water inside, preventing damage and ensuring safety.
8. Pouring: The kettle features a double-wall insulation design, keeping the exterior cooler to the touch for comfortable handling while pouring. The spout is designed for smooth, drip-free pouring.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Tisanio Electric Kettle.

1. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
2. Cleaning the Interior: The 304 stainless steel interior is easy to clean. Rinse with water after each use. For stubborn stains, use a soft sponge with mild dish soap.
3. Descaling: Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up over time, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
• Fill the kettle with 1/2 cup of white vinegar and the rest with water.
• Boil the mixture for 5 minutes.
• Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
• Discard the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly several times with fresh water.
• Repeat if necessary.
