1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder with Camera and Water Fountain. This combo set is designed to provide a healthy and comfortable feeding and drinking experience for your pet, featuring smart app control, remote monitoring, and a filtration system.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Feeder Assembly

  1. Place the feeder unit on a stable, level surface.
  2. Install the food bowl by aligning it with the dispenser outlet and pushing it into place.
  3. Open the top lid of the feeder.
  4. Pour dry pet food (recommended kibble size: 2-10mm) into the food storage container.
  5. Place the desiccant packet into its designated compartment under the lid to maintain food freshness.
  6. Close the lid securely by aligning the marks and rotating it to the locked position.

3.2 Water Fountain Assembly

  1. Install the water pump into the water tank.
  2. Fill the water tank with water, ensuring the level is between the MIN and MAX indicators.
  3. Take out the cartridge frame and insert the filter cartridge. Wet the filter before use.
  4. Install the water storage tray and the showerhead (if desired for shower mode).
  5. Place the assembled water fountain unit on a level floor.

3.3 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power options: a 5V/1A power adapter and 3 D-size batteries (not included). Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet. For backup power during outages, insert 3 D-size batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.

3.4 App Connection

  1. Ensure your mobile device's Wi-Fi (2.4GHz or 5GHz) and Bluetooth are enabled.
  2. Download and install the "iCSee Home" app from your device's app store. Authorize necessary permissions and log in.
  3. Plug the feeder into a power source. In unlocked mode, press and hold the SET button (gear icon) for 6 seconds until you hear three beeps and the indicator blinks rapidly. This indicates network setup mode.
  4. The app will automatically search for the device. Tap to add the detected device and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 App Control and Feeding Schedule

Use the "iCSee Home" app to customize your pet's daily meal plan. You can set 1-10 feedings per day, with up to 15 portions per meal (7-9g per portion). The app also supports manual slow feeding.

4.2 Manual Feeding

To manually dispense food, ensure the feeder is in an unlocked state. Press the food bowl icon button on the feeder. Each press will dispense one portion of pet food.

4.3 Camera and Monitoring

The feeder is equipped with a 1080P HD camera, night vision, and AI-powered pet recognition. You can monitor your pet's activities, view live video, and receive 24-hour absence alerts through the app. The camera captures and saves videos of mealtime.

4.4 Two-Way Audio and Personalized Voice

The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way communication with your pet. You can also record a personalized voice message (up to 10 seconds) that plays automatically at feeding times to remind your pet to eat.

4.5 Cloud Storage

With cloud service enabled, you can view video playback and store recordings anytime. Activated cloud storage allows for viewing, playback, editing, and saving auto-identified pet videos, with 7-day cloud storage and device access sharing with family. Unactivated service allows viewing and downloading of auto-identified pet photos with 3-day cloud storage.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

For your pet's health, it is recommended to clean the devices once a week.

  • The water fountain is fully detachable for easy cleaning. Disassemble the pump and clean all components.
  • The cat feeder should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main feeder unit in water.

5.2 Desiccant Replacement

The desiccant packet helps keep pet food fresh and prevent moisture. It is recommended to replace the desiccant every month. The app can be set to remind you when to replace it.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Factory Reset

To restore factory settings, ensure the device is unlocked. Press and hold the SET button (gear icon) for 6 seconds. After hearing three beeps, the device will disconnect and restore factory settings.

6.2 Connectivity Issues

If you experience connectivity problems, ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and within range. Verify that both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi are supported and enabled on your router. Re-attempt the app connection process (Section 3.4). If issues persist, try restarting your router and the feeder.

6.3 Food Clogging

The feeder features a dual-rotor anti-clogging mechanism. Ensure you are using dry kibble within the recommended size of 2-10mm. Larger kibble may cause blockages. If clogging occurs, check the dispenser mechanism for any obstructions.
