Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before use.

Setup

3. Filling the Water Tank:
   • Remove the 44 oz (1.3L) transparent water tank from the base unit.
   • Fill the tank with clean tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prolong the life of the appliance and prevent mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas. Do not use perfumed water, vinegar, or other chemical additives.
   • Replace the water tank securely into the base unit.

4. Connecting Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the appliance.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On and Heat Up:
   • Once plugged in, the iron will begin to heat up. The indicator light will illuminate.
   • Allow approximately 25 seconds for the iron to reach the desired temperature. The indicator light will turn off when heating is complete.
2. Select Temperature: Adjust the precision temperature dial on the iron to the appropriate setting for your fabric type. Refer to the fabric guide below:

3. Steam Ironing:
   • Press the steam button on the iron handle to activate continuous steam.
   • Glide the iron over the fabric. The 40g/min continuous steam will help remove wrinkles effectively.
   • For stubborn wrinkles, you may hold the steam button for a short burst of extra steam.

4. Dry Ironing: If dry ironing is preferred, do not press the steam button. The iron will function as a standard dry iron.
5. Vertical Steaming: The iron can also be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments. Hold the iron vertically and press the steam button.
6. Iron Lock: When finished or for transport, use the Iron Lock feature to secure the iron to its base. This prevents accidental detachment and makes carrying safer.

7. Power Off: After use, turn the temperature dial to the minimum setting, unplug the iron from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool completely before storing.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Soleplate:

• Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
• Wipe the ceramic soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use harsh scouring pads or metallic cleaners, as these can damage the soleplate.

Draining the Water Tank:
