4. Setup Guide

4.1 Physical Installation

1. Choose a suitable location for the camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and is within Wi-Fi range.
2. Select a location for the solar panel that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day to ensure optimal charging. The solar panel can be installed separately from the camera.
3. Use the provided mounting screws and wall anchors to securely attach the camera's mounting bracket to your chosen surface.
4. Attach the solar panel's mounting bracket and then secure the solar panel, adjusting its angle to face the sun.
5. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.

4.2 App Installation & Connection

1. Download the 'Eseecloud' APP from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register and log in to your Eseecloud account.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves powering on the camera and connecting it to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz or 5GHz) via Bluetooth pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View & Playback

Access the Eseecloud APP to view live footage from your camera. You can also review recorded events from your SD card or cloud storage.

5.2 PTZ Control

Use the directional controls within the Eseecloud APP to remotely pan (270°), tilt (90°), and digitally zoom (4X) the camera lens to adjust your viewing angle.

5.3 Two-Way Talk

Tap the microphone icon in the app to activate two-way audio. Speak into your phone to communicate through the camera's speaker, and listen through its microphone.

5.4 Motion Detection & Alarms

The camera utilizes PIR and AI human detection to identify relevant motion. When triggered, it can:

• Send real-time alerts to your smartphone.
• Activate an audible siren.
• Turn on a bright spotlight.

Customize detection sensitivity and alarm settings within the Eseecloud APP.

6. Maintenance

• Regularly clean the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear vision and efficient charging.
• Ensure the solar panel is free from obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) that could block sunlight.
• Monitor battery levels via the Eseecloud APP. If the battery is consistently low, check solar panel placement or charge manually using the USB cable.

• Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Try resetting the camera and re-pairing via the app.
• Battery not charging: Verify the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight for several hours daily. Clean the solar panel surface. Check the connection between the solar panel and the camera.
• False motion alerts: Adjust the PIR detection sensitivity settings in the Eseecloud APP. Utilize AI human detection to filter out non-human movements.
