Operating Instructions
The LINNIW filter set provides specialized filters for both wet and dry vacuuming tasks.
- For Dry Pick-Up: Use the VRC2 cloth filter. This filter is designed to capture fine dust, debris, and pet hair, protecting your vacuum motor during dry cleaning operations.
- For Wet Pick-Up: Use the VFF21 foam filter. It is essential to remove the VRC2 cloth filter before performing any wet vacuuming. The foam filter efficiently absorbs liquids and prevents them from entering the motor, helping to reduce odors and extend the vacuum's lifespan.
Important: Never use the VRC2 cloth filter for wet pick-up, as it can be damaged and compromise motor protection. Always switch to the VFF21 foam filter for wet messes.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning of your filters ensures optimal performance and extends their lifespan.
Cleaning VRC2 Cloth Filters
The VRC2 cloth filters are washable and reusable. Follow these steps for cleaning:
- Remove the cloth filter from the vacuum.
- Gently tap the filter to dislodge loose debris.
- Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water until clean.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstallation. Ensure it is fully dry to prevent mold or mildew growth and to maintain filtration efficiency.
Cleaning VFF21 Foam Filters
The VFF21 foam filters can also be cleaned and reused:
- Remove the foam filter from the vacuum.
- Rinse the filter under running water to remove absorbed liquids and debris.
- Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstallation.
Use the included small cleaning brush to remove stubborn dust and debris from both filter types as needed.

Troubleshooting
- Filter feels too tight during installation: Some vacuum models may have a very snug fit. Carefully stretch the elastic band of the cloth filter or gently work the foam filter onto the cage. Avoid excessive force to prevent tearing.
- Reduced suction: A clogged or dirty filter can significantly reduce vacuum suction. Clean or replace the filter as necessary. Ensure the filter is correctly installed and sealed.
- Filter tearing: Ensure the filter cage is free of sharp edges. When installing, apply even pressure and avoid pulling or stretching the filter excessively in one spot.
- Odor during wet pick-up: Ensure the foam filter is thoroughly cleaned and dried after each wet use to prevent mildew and odors.
