  • Settings 1-3 (MIN to MED): Generally suitable for refrigeration or less intense freezing, around 10.4°F to 0°F.
  • Settings 4-8 (MED to MAX/STRONG): Ideal for deep freezing, reaching temperatures down to -11.2°F.

  • Lift the basket to access items stored below.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  • Interior: Unplug the freezer. Remove all food and baskets. Wash the interior with a solution of baking soda and warm water (2 tablespoons baking soda to 1 quart water). Rinse and dry thoroughly before plugging back in.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals.

5.2 Manual Defrosting

This is a manual defrost freezer. Defrost when ice accumulation reaches about 1/4 to 1/2 inch (0.6 to 1.2 cm) thick.

  1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food and store it in another freezer or cooler.
  3. Open the freezer lid and place towels on the floor around the unit to catch melting ice.
  4. Locate the drain plug (if present) at the bottom of the freezer and remove it to allow water to drain. Use a shallow pan to collect the water.
  5. Allow the ice to melt naturally. You can speed up the process by placing bowls of hot water inside the freezer (do not use boiling water directly on surfaces).
  6. Once all ice has melted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
  7. Replace the drain plug, plug the freezer back in, and allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food.

5.3 Power Outage

In case of a power outage, keep the freezer door closed. The freezer's high-density foam insulation and insulated door seal will help maintain cold temperatures for an extended period, delaying food spoilage.
