3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the Type-C end to the mouse and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

3.2 Connectivity Options

The VT7 MAX offers both wired and wireless connectivity.

  • Wireless Mode (2.4GHz): Insert the USB adapter into an available USB port on your computer. The mouse will automatically connect. The USB adapter can be stored in a magnetic compartment on the underside of the mouse for portability.
  • Wired Mode: Connect the mouse directly to your computer using the provided Type-C cable. The mouse can be used while charging in wired mode.

3.3 Driver Installation (A HUB Software)

To unlock advanced features such as programmable buttons and macros, install the Rapoo A HUB driver software. This software is available for both Windows and Mac OS. Visit the official Rapoo website to download the latest version.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the mouse surface and sensor. Use a soft, dry cloth for the exterior. For the optical sensor, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse.

6.2 Replacing Mouse Feet and Grip Stickers

The package includes replacement PTFE mouse feet and anti-slip grip stickers. If the existing feet or stickers show wear, carefully peel them off and apply the new ones, ensuring the surface is clean and dry for proper adhesion.

  • Mouse not responding: Ensure the mouse is charged and powered on. For wireless mode, check that the USB adapter is securely plugged in and within range. For wired mode, ensure the Type-C cable is properly connected.
