Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Ensure all protective films are removed from the crystal, case, and bracelet.

2. Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to position 2 (the outermost position).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
  3. Once the time is set, push the crown back into position 0 (the innermost position) to start the watch.

3. Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (the middle position).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If the current time falls within this period, first set the time outside this range, then set the date, and finally reset the time.
  3. Once the date is set, push the crown back into position 0.

4. Bracelet Adjustment

The titanium bracelet may need to be adjusted for a comfortable fit. This typically involves removing or adding links. It is highly recommended to have this adjustment performed by a qualified jeweler or watchmaker to prevent damage to the bracelet or clasp.

Operating Your Watch

Wearing the Watch

Ensure the watch is worn comfortably on your wrist, not too tight or too loose. The clasp should be securely fastened.

Water Resistance (5 ATM)

Your Adriatica Premiere A8329.4114Q watch is water-resistant up to 5 atmospheres (5 ATM), which is equivalent to 50 meters (165 feet). This means it is suitable for everyday use, including showering, hand washing, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or prolonged water activities. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to position 0 before any contact with water.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Battery Replacement

Your watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. The battery life typically ranges from 2 to 3 years. When the battery needs replacement, it is strongly recommended to have this service performed by an authorized Adriatica service center or a professional watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and prevent damage to the movement.

Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box is ideal for storage.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in to position 0. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Incorrect time/date: Refer to the "Setting the Time" and "Setting the Date" sections to reset.
  • Condensation under the crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent further damage to the movement.
  • Bracelet discomfort: Ensure the bracelet is properly adjusted. If not, seek professional adjustment.
