5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Cleaner
Before first use, fully charge the robotic pool cleaner. The charging port is located under a protective cover on the top of the unit. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours. LED indicators will show the charging status.
5.2 Initial Placement in the Pool
Once charged, select your desired cleaning mode (see Section 6) and gently lower the cleaner into the pool. Ensure it sinks to the bottom. The cleaner will begin its cleaning cycle automatically.

The ABNEMEN SAT20 features a simple control panel for selecting cleaning modes. It is designed for plug-and-play operation without the need for a smartphone app.
6.1 Cleaning Modes
The cleaner offers three distinct cleaning modes:
- Wall Only: Focuses solely on cleaning the pool walls.
- Floor Only: Concentrates on cleaning the pool floor.
- Wall & Floor (Auto Mode): Provides comprehensive cleaning of both the pool walls and floor.
To select a mode, press the power button on the top of the unit. The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the modes.

6.2 Smart Docking & Retrieval
When the battery is low, the cleaner will automatically return to the edge of the pool for easy retrieval. Use the provided retrieval hook to safely lift the cleaner out of the water. Allow excess water to drain before removing it completely.

7.1 Cleaning the Filter Basket
