1. Introduction and Overview

2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Your Geeetech M1S printer comes fully assembled for a plug-and-play experience. Follow these steps to prepare your printer for its first use:

1. Unboxing: Carefully open the packaging box. Lay the printer flat and pull out the printer from the packaging. Remove all foam filling and packaging bags from around and inside the printer.
2. Remove Retaining Straps: Cut off any retaining straps securing internal components, particularly on the X-axis. Be careful not to cut any belts.
3. Install Spool Holder and Teflon Tube: Attach the spool holder to the designated slot on the side of the printer. Insert the Teflon tube into the bottom of the extruder.
4. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the printer and plug it into a power outlet. Turn on the power switch located at the back of the printer.
5. Automatic Leveling: The printer features 16-point full-auto leveling. Navigate to the 'Prepare' menu on the 2.4" LCD color screen and select 'Auto Level'. The printer will automatically detect and adjust the nozzle height. The nozzle will be wiped before leveling to ensure accuracy.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Loading Filament

1. Insert the filament into the Teflon tube until it reaches the extruder.
2. On the printer's LCD screen, navigate to 'Prepare' and select 'Load Filament'. The printer will automatically feed the filament.

5.2. Starting a Print

You have multiple options to start printing:

• SD Card Printing: Insert the Micro SD card with your print file into the printer's card slot. Use the control knob to navigate to 'Print from SD' and select your desired file.
• WiFi Cloud Printing / App Control: Download the 'Geeetech' app (iOS/Android) to access the model library and print wirelessly. The app allows for one-touch printing and remote control.
• USB Cable Direct Printing: Connect your laptop to the printer via USB cable for direct printing.

Once a print is initiated, the printer will heat the nozzle and hot bed, perform a nozzle wipe, and begin printing. The 2.4" LCD screen will display print progress, and high-brightness lighting inside the machine provides clear visibility.

6. Maintenance

• Nozzle Cleaning: The M1S features smart auto nozzle cleaning to prevent residual material from affecting print quality. For manual cleaning, use the provided needle.
• Build Plate Care: The heated, flexible magnetic build plate allows for easy model removal and platform cleaning. Ensure the plate is clean before each print for optimal adhesion.
• Filament Management: For optimal stability when using 1kg filament spools, it is recommended to use a filament holder. A model file for a suitable holder is available upon request and can be printed using your M1S printer.
