Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your MALOL Executive Office Chair. An official assembly video is provided for visual guidance.

1. Connect Star Base and Base Legs: Attach the five base legs to the star base using the provided M6x12mm bolts and wrench. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
2. Insert Casters and Gas Lift: Press the five casters into the holes at the end of each base leg. Then, place the star base cover and insert the gas lift into the center hole of the star base.
3. Attach Seat Plate to Seat Cushion: Align the seat plate over the pre-drilled holes underneath the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the seat plate faces the front of the seat cushion. Attach the seat plate using four M6x20mm bolts. Tighten all bolts with the wrench, being careful not to cross-thread.
4. Secure Seat Cushion to Gas Lift: Turn the seat cushion upright and align the center hole of the seat plate over the gas lift. Push the seat cushion down onto the gas lift firmly until the connection is secure.
5. Attach Steel Plate to Back Cushion: Attach the steel plate to the back cushion using four M6x25mm bolts and the wrench.
6. Connect Seat Cushion and Back Cushion: Insert the steel plate into the mechanism to connect the seat cushion and back cushion. Use four M8x25mm bolts and tighten them by 50% initially. After all four screws are aligned, fully tighten the bolts.
7. Attach Arms: Attach the arms to the seat cushion and back cushion using four M8x40mm bolts and the wrench.
8. Cover Bolt Holes: Use the plastic caps to cover the exposed bolt holes on the arms for a finished look.
9. Connect Power Cables: Align the white power plug from the backrest with the white socket on the seat, pushing gently until it clicks into place. Then, align and insert the controller's plug into the socket under the back cushion and connect the power cable to the socket under the back cushion. Store the controller in the side storage pocket when not in use.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Chair Height

To adjust the chair height, pull the lever located under the seat upwards. To raise the chair, lift the lever while standing. To lower the chair, lift the lever while seated. Release the lever to lock the height.

Reclining Function

The chair features an adjustable reclining function from 96° to 129°. Use the lever on the side of the chair to adjust the backrest angle. The pull-out footrest can be extended for added comfort during reclined positions.

Massage and Heat Functions

The chair includes a 6-point vibration massage system and a heated lumbar pad. Use the wired controller, stored in the side pocket, to activate and adjust these functions.

• Massage: The 6-point vibration massage targets the back, waist, and thighs. Use the controller to select massage intensity and modes.
• Heated Lumbar Pad: The lumbar cushion provides heat at 45°C, 55°C, or 65°C. Activate and adjust the temperature using the controller.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: For general cleaning, dry clean the chair's upholstery. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the material.
• Hardware: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Casters: Keep casters free of debris (hair, dust) to ensure smooth rolling and prevent floor damage.
• Cables: Be mindful of the massage and heating function cables. Avoid pinching or rolling over them to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

• Chair is unstable/wobbly: Ensure all assembly bolts are fully tightened. Verify the gas lift is correctly seated in the base and seat plate.
• Massage/Heat not working: Check that all power cables are securely connected to their respective sockets and that the power source is active. Ensure the controller is properly plugged in.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Inspect casters for trapped debris (hair, lint) and clean them. Consider replacing standard plastic casters with rubber casters for improved smoothness and floor protection.
• Noisy massage function: The massage function uses vibration motors which may produce some operational noise. This is generally normal.
