2. Setup Instructions

2.1 Charging the Batteries

Before first use, fully charge both 8000mAh lithium-polymer batteries. The batteries support 4.5-hour ultra-fast charging (66W) and are UL & FCC dual safety certified.

1. Connect the provided charging cable to each battery.
2. Plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
3. The indicator lights on the battery will show charging progress. Ensure all lights are solid to confirm a full charge.

2.2 Inserting Batteries into Socks

Each sock features a dedicated pocket for the battery pack.

1. Locate the pocket at the top of each sock.
2. Connect the sock's power cable to the fully charged battery.
3. Carefully slide the connected battery into the pocket, ensuring it is secure and comfortable against your leg.

3. Operating Instructions

The SURGOAL Heated Socks feature a simple one-button control system for power and temperature adjustment.

3.1 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the battery pack for 3-5 seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
• To power off, press and hold the power button again for 3-5 seconds until the lights turn off.

3.2 Adjusting Temperature Settings

Once powered on, short press the power button to cycle through the three heat settings:

• Level 1 (Low): Approximately 122°F (50°C) for up to 10 hours runtime.
• Level 2 (Medium): Approximately 131°F (55°C) for up to 7 hours runtime.
• Level 3 (High): Approximately 140°F (60°C) for up to 5 hours runtime.

The indicator lights on the battery will change to reflect the selected heat level.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Instructions

The SURGOAL Heated Socks are designed for easy maintenance.

1. Before washing, ensure both batteries are disconnected from the socks.
2. The socks are machine washable. A laundry bag is not required.
3. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
4. Air dry the socks completely before reinserting batteries or storing. Do not tumble dry or iron.

5. Troubleshooting

• Socks are not heating:
  • Ensure batteries are fully charged.
  • Verify that the battery is securely connected to the sock's power cable.
  • Confirm that the power button on the battery has been pressed and held to turn on the socks, and a heat level is selected.
• One sock is not heating:
  • Check the battery and connection for the non-heating sock specifically.
  • Swap batteries between socks to determine if the issue is with the battery or the sock itself.
• Battery indicator lights are not working:
  • Ensure the battery is powered on.
  • If the battery is completely drained, the lights may not illuminate until a charge is initiated.
