2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is designed exclusively for 110 V power supply. Using 240 V or higher will damage the product and poses a severe safety risk.
• Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where it may come into contact with water.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• This heater has an overheating protection system that automatically switches the heater off when it reaches a certain temperature. If this occurs, unplug the heater and allow it to cool before restarting.
• Always inspect the heating tube for cracks or breaks before each use. Do not use if damaged.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
• The heater is IPX4 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use in rain or snow, but should not be submerged in water.

4. Setup and Installation

The Haoteey Electric Outdoor Heater offers two installation options: tripod mounting or wall mounting.

4.1 Tripod Mounting

1. Unfold the tripod stand and ensure it is stable on a flat, level surface.
2. Attach the heater unit to the top of the tripod stand using the provided fasteners. Ensure it is securely tightened.
3. Adjust the height of the tripod from 35 to 71 inches as needed. Secure the height adjustment mechanism.
4. Adjust the heating angle of the heater unit up to 90 degrees to direct warmth as desired.

4.2 Wall Mounting

1. Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is a safe distance from combustible materials (at least 3 feet).
2. Use the provided wall mounting brackets as a template to mark drilling points on the wall.
3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
4. Securely attach the wall mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws.
5. Mount the heater unit onto the installed brackets. Ensure it is firmly attached and stable.

5. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the remote control or the manual switches on the unit.

5.1 Powering On/Off

• Remote Control: Press the power button (On/Off) on the remote to turn the heater on or off.
• Manual Switch: Use the power switch located on the heater unit to manually turn it on or off.

5.2 Adjusting Heat Settings

The heater offers three heat settings: 500W, 1000W, and 1500W.

• Remote Control: Use the Up/Down buttons on the remote to cycle through the power settings.
• Manual Switch: Use the heat switch on the heater unit to adjust the heat output.

5.3 Timer Function

The timer allows you to set the heater to operate for a specific duration from 0.5 to 8 hours.

• Remote Control: Press the Timer button on the remote. Each press will increase the timer setting. The heater will automatically turn off once the set time expires.
