5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

The ANNKIE Dance Mat DM13 requires batteries for operation (batteries are not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the control unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Initial Placement

Unfold the dance mat and place it on a flat, clear surface, ensuring there is enough space around it for safe movement.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power Button on the control unit to turn the dance mat on or off.

6.2 Selecting Modes

The dance mat offers multiple modes for varied play:

• Dance Mode: Follow the light-up arrows on the mat.
• Music Mode: Play built-in melodies.
• Memory Challenge Mode: Test your memory with sequences of light-up patterns. This mode includes 3 difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.

Use the Level/Difficulty Switch on the control unit to cycle through available modes and difficulty settings.

6.3 Bluetooth Function

Connect your device via Bluetooth to play your favorite music through the dance mat's speakers.

1. Ensure the dance mat is powered on.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "ANNKIE DM13" (or similar name).
4. Once connected, you can play music from your device, and it will output through the dance mat's speakers.

6.4 Volume Control

Use the Volume+ and Volume- buttons on the control unit to adjust the sound level.

6.5 Start/Pause and Level Navigation

• Press the Start/Pause button to begin or temporarily stop a game or music playback.
• Use the Last Level and Next Level buttons to navigate through different songs or stages within a mode.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

The dance mat is made from PVC material and is waterproof. To clean, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7.2 Storage

The dance mat is designed to be easy to fold, allowing for convenient storage without occupying much space. Ensure the mat is clean and dry before folding and storing.

8. Troubleshooting

• Mat not turning on: Check if batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Replace batteries if necessary.

• Bluetooth not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mat. Try restarting both devices and re-pairing.
