1. Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Merax Solid Wood Extendable Dining Table Set. This 6-piece set includes an extendable rectangular dining table, four upholstered chairs, and one upholstered bench, designed for seating 4 to 8 people.

2. Safety Information

Adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the product:

• Each dining chair has a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs.

4. Setup and Assembly

Full assembly is required for this dining set. Please follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included in your package. Ensure you have adequate space and all components before beginning assembly.

4.1 Table Dimensions

Refer to the assembly guide for step-by-step instructions on attaching the table legs, chair frames, and bench supports. It is recommended to assemble the furniture on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

5. Operating Instructions: Table Extension

The dining table features a seamless extension mechanism with a removable 18-inch middle leaf, allowing it to expand from 60 inches to 78 inches in length.

5.1 Extending the Table

1. Gently pull the two halves of the table apart from the center.
2. Carefully place the 18-inch middle leaf into the gap created. Ensure the leaf is properly aligned with the table edges.
3. Push the two table halves back together until they are flush with the middle leaf and securely locked.

5.2 Collapsing the Table

1. Pull the two halves of the table apart slightly to unlock the middle leaf.
2. Carefully lift and remove the 18-inch middle leaf. Store it safely to prevent damage.
3. Push the two table halves back together until they meet in the center and are securely locked.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your dining set.

6.1 Wood Surfaces

• Wipe wood surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Promptly clean up spills to prevent staining or water damage.
• Use coasters and placemats to protect the table surface from heat and moisture.
• Keep furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent warping or fading.

6.2 Upholstered Seating

• Vacuum upholstered cushions regularly to remove dust and debris.
• Spot clean with a mild fabric cleaner as needed. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Avoid saturating the fabric with liquid.
