1. Safety Information

Operating an electric scooter requires caution and adherence to safety guidelines. Please read and understand all instructions before use.

1.1 General Safety Rules

• Always wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
• Ensure the scooter is fully charged before each use.
• Do not ride in wet conditions, on slippery surfaces, or in heavy rain.
• Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations.
• This scooter is designed for users aged 8 and above, with a maximum weight limit of 176 pounds (79 kg).

3. Setup and Assembly

The INVANTI KS03 Electric Scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

3.1 Unfolding the Scooter

1. Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging.
2. Locate the folding mechanism at the base of the handlebar stem.
3. Press the release lever and lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure it is securely latched.

3.2 Attaching the Handlebars

1. Slide the left and right handlebar grips onto the handlebar.
2. Use the provided Allen wrenches to tighten the screws on the handlebar grips, securing them in place.

3.3 Adjusting Handlebar Height

The handlebar height is adjustable to accommodate different rider heights (33.5, 35.5, 40 inches). To adjust:

1. Loosen the quick-release clamp on the handlebar stem.
2. Raise or lower the handlebar to the desired height.
3. Ensure the handlebar is aligned straight with the front wheel.
4. Securely tighten the quick-release clamp.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and LED Display

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the LED display until the screen illuminates.
• The LED display shows battery life, current speed, and selected speed mode.
• To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

4.2 Speed Modes

The scooter offers 3 adjustable speed modes:

• ECO Mode: Approximately 5 mph (8 km/h) - Ideal for beginners and energy saving.
• D Mode: Approximately 8 mph (13 km/h) - Standard riding speed.
• S Mode: Approximately 12 mph (19 km/h) - Maximum speed for experienced riders.

Press the power button briefly to cycle through the speed modes.

4.3 Starting and Accelerating

To engage the motor, the scooter requires a kick-start:

1. Place one foot on the deck and use the other foot to push off the ground, gaining a speed of approximately 1.8 mph (3 km/h).
2. Once moving, press the accelerator lever on the right handlebar to engage the motor and maintain speed.

4.4 Braking System

The scooter is equipped with a dual braking system for reliable stopping:

• Electronic Brake: Activated by the lever on the left handlebar.
• Rear Foot Brake: Activated by pressing down on the rear fender with your foot.

5. Charging the Battery

To ensure optimal performance and battery longevity, follow these charging instructions:

• Locate the charging port on the scooter's deck.
• Connect the charger to a power outlet, then connect the charging cable to the scooter's charging port.
• The indicator light on the charger will typically turn red during charging and green when fully charged.
• A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
• Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once the battery is full.
