5. Operating Instructions

Folding and Unfolding the Desk:

1. To unfold the desk: Gently pull the movable desk section away from the main bookshelf unit. The desk surface will extend. Ensure the locking mechanism engages securely to hold the desk in its open position.
2. To fold the desk: Disengage the locking mechanism (refer to Figure 5.1 for detail). Carefully push the desk surface back towards the main bookshelf unit until it is flush and secured in the compact position.

Using the Integrated Power Outlet and USB Ports:

The desk features a built-in European power socket and two USB charging ports. These are designed for convenient power access for your laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other small electronic devices.

• Connect the desk's power cord to a standard European wall outlet.
• Plug your devices into the available power socket or USB ports.
• Do not overload the power strip. Refer to the power strip's specifications for maximum wattage.

Adjusting Shelves:

The first and third shelves on the right side of the unit are height-adjustable. To adjust a shelf:

1. Remove any items from the shelf.
2. Carefully lift the shelf and remove the shelf pins from their current holes.
3. Insert the shelf pins into the desired new holes at the same height on both sides.
4. Place the shelf back onto the pins, ensuring it is level and secure.
