4. Installation Guide

A two-person installation is recommended for optimal alignment and ease of handling. Before starting, clean both sides of the truck bed rails thoroughly.

4.1 Unboxing and Component Identification

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Identify the main cover, side rails, clamps, weather stripping, drainage tubes, and hardware.

4.2 Side Rail Installation

1. Position the side rails along the inside of your truck bed rails. Ensure they are flush and properly aligned.
2. Insert the clamps into the designated slots on the side rails. The clamps are designed to slide into the rail and then pivot to grip the truck bed.
3. Tighten the screws on the clamps to secure the side rails firmly to the truck bed. Do not overtighten.

4.3 Tonneau Cover Placement

1. With the side rails installed, carefully place the folded tonneau cover onto the front of the truck bed, near the cab. Ensure the large flap on the cover is positioned towards the cab.
2. Align the cover with the installed side rails, ensuring it sits evenly and flush.
3. Connect the drainage tubes to the designated ports on the front of the cover. Route the tubes through existing drain holes in your truck bed or drill new ones if necessary, ensuring water drains properly.

4.4 Securing the Cover

1. Unfold the tonneau cover completely over the truck bed.
2. Engage the spring-loaded tabs on the underside of the cover into the side rails. These tabs will automatically lock into place as the cover is unfolded.
3. For additional security, use the provided wing nuts to further tighten the cover to the side rails, ensuring a snug fit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening the Tonneau Cover

1. To open the cover, locate the release latches at the rear of the truck bed.
2. Pull the release cord/handle to disengage the latches. The quad-fold design allows for one-handed operation.
3. Fold the cover sections towards the cab. The cover can be folded in sections (1/2, 3/4) or completely to the front for full bed access.
4. Secure the folded cover using the integrated straps and buckles near the cab to prevent movement while driving.

5.2 Closing the Tonneau Cover

1. Release the securing straps near the cab.
2. Carefully unfold each section of the cover towards the tailgate.
3. Ensure each section lays flat and the latches engage securely with the side rails. A distinct click indicates proper engagement.
4. Verify that the cover is fully closed and latched before driving.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your tonneau cover.

• Cleaning: Wash the cover regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Rinse thoroughly.
• Seals: Periodically inspect the weather seals around the perimeter of the cover and along the folds for any signs of wear or damage. Replace damaged seals to maintain water resistance.
• Hardware: Check all clamps, bolts, and latches periodically to ensure they are tight and secure. Tighten any loose hardware as needed.
• Drainage Tubes: Ensure drainage tubes are clear of debris and functioning correctly to prevent water accumulation in the truck bed.

• Water Leakage:
