Setup

1. Track Assembly:

   Carefully connect the track pieces on a flat, stable surface. Ensure all connectors are securely fastened to create a continuous loop or desired layout. Refer to the diagrams on the packaging for suggested track configurations.
2. Battery Installation:

   Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the locomotive. Using a screwdriver (not included), open the compartment. Insert the included Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

3. Water Filling for Smoke Function:

   Remove the cap on the top of the locomotive's water tank. Using the provided water bottle, carefully add a small amount of clean water into the tank. Do not overfill. Replace the cap securely. This water will be used to generate realistic smoke.

4. Connecting Train Cars:

   Attach the train cars to the locomotive and to each other using the hooks and loops provided. Ensure all connections are secure before placing the train on the tracks.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off:

   Locate the power switch on the locomotive (usually on the side or bottom). Flip the switch to the "ON" position to start the train. Flip to "OFF" to stop.

2. Lights and Sound:

   Upon activation, the train's LED lights will illuminate, and realistic train sounds will begin. These functions are typically integrated with the power switch.
3. Smoke Function:

   Once the train is powered on and water has been added, the locomotive will begin to emit realistic smoke from its chimney after a short warm-up period. If smoke is not immediately visible, ensure sufficient water has been added and the train has been running for a moment.

4. Placement on Tracks:

   Carefully place the assembled train onto the tracks, ensuring all wheels are properly seated on the rails. The train will then move along the track.

Maintenance

• Cleaning:

  Wipe the train and tracks with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Avoid getting water into electronic components.

• Storage:

  When not in use, store the train set in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.

• Water Tank:

  Empty any remaining water from the smoke tank before storing to prevent residue buildup.

Troubleshooting

• Train Not Moving:

  Check if the power switch is in the "ON" position. Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Verify that all train cars are properly connected and wheels are on the tracks.

• No Lights/Sound:

  Confirm battery charge and installation. If issues persist, contact customer support.
• No Smoke:

  Ensure the water tank is filled with clean water. Allow a few moments for the heating element to warm up. If the issue persists, check for blockages in the smoke outlet.

• Train Derails:

  Ensure tracks are securely connected and laid on a flat surface. Check that train cars are properly coupled and wheels are clean.
