3. Product Overview

The Delmodes 6K 64MP Camcorder is equipped with a 13.0 MP sensor, capable of capturing 6K video at 30 frames per second and 64.0 megapixel still images. It features an 18X digital zoom and a 4.0-inch HD touchscreen that rotates up to 270 degrees for flexible viewing angles. Key functionalities include infrared night vision, an LED fill light, Wi-Fi connectivity for smartphone control, and webcam capabilities.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the camcorder.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 4500mAh lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 SD Card Installation

  1. Locate the SD card slot, typically on the side or bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the provided 64GB SD card (or another compatible SD card up to 256GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. It is recommended to format the SD card within the camcorder's menu before first use to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

4.3 Attaching Accessories

  1. External Microphone: Slide the microphone onto the hot shoe mount on top of the camcorder. Connect the microphone cable to the designated MIC port.
  2. Lens Hood: Attach the lens hood to the front of the camcorder's lens by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  3. Handheld Stabilizer: Attach the handheld stabilizer to the tripod mount screw hole located at the bottom of the camcorder.

4.4 Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. The camcorder is now ready for operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the camcorder on or off.
  • Recording Video: In video mode, press the record button to start and stop recording.
  • Taking Photos: In photo mode, press the shutter button to capture a still image.
  • Zoom: Use the zoom rocker switch, typically located near the top of the camcorder, to digitally zoom in or out (18X digital zoom).

5.2 Menu Navigation

The 4.0-inch HD touchscreen allows for intuitive menu navigation. Tap on icons and swipe to access various settings and modes. Rotate the screen up to 270 degrees for convenient self-recording or viewing from different angles.

5.3 Advanced Features

  • Infrared Night Vision: Activate IR mode from the menu to record clear black and white video/photos in low-light or dark environments.
  • LED Fill Light: Turn on the integrated LED light for additional illumination when needed.

  • Wi-Fi Connection:
    1. Download the "Hello Cam" application on your smartphone.
    2. Enable Wi-Fi on the camcorder via the menu.
    3. On your smartphone, connect to the camcorder's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password displayed on the camcorder screen).
    4. Use the "Hello Cam" app to remotely control the camcorder and transfer files.

  • Webcam Function: Connect the camcorder to your computer (Windows 7/8/10/11 or MAC) using the USB cable. Select the webcam mode on the camcorder when prompted.

  • Time-Lapse & Slow Motion: Access these creative video modes through the camcorder's menu settings.
  • Burst Function: Capture a rapid sequence of photos by enabling the burst mode in the photo settings.

5.4 Remote Control Usage

The 2.4G wireless remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance (up to 20 meters). Ensure 2x AAA batteries (not included) are installed in the remote control before use. Use the remote to start/stop recording, take photos, and navigate basic menu options.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lens and touchscreen.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surfaces.
  • For the camcorder body, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Charge the battery fully before first use and whenever the battery indicator is low.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • If storing the camcorder for an extended period, remove the battery.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the camcorder in the provided DV bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your camcorder, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
