Setup and Installation Instructions

Before you begin, ensure your TV's weight and VESA pattern are compatible with this mount. This mount supports TVs from 43" to 100" and up to 165 lbs (75 kg).

Step 1: Pre-Installation Checks

  • Check TV Weight and Size: Confirm your TV is between 43"-100" and weighs no more than 165 lbs (75 kg).
  • Check VESA Pattern: Locate the four mounting holes on the back of your TV. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between these holes (center to center). This is your VESA pattern. Ensure it falls within the range of 50x50mm to 900x600mm.
  • Identify Wall Type: Determine if your wall is wood stud, solid concrete, or brick. Different hardware and drilling techniques are required.

Step 2: Locate Wall Studs (for Wood Stud Walls)

  • Use a stud finder to locate the edges and center of two adjacent wood studs where you intend to mount the TV.
  • Mark the center of the studs with a pencil. The wall plate supports stud spacing of 406 mm (16 inches), 450 mm (17.7 inches), or 600 mm (23.6 inches).

Step 3: Mark and Drill Pilot Holes

  • Hold the wall plate against the wall at your desired height and align the mounting holes with the marked stud centers. Use the built-in bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
  • Mark the drilling locations through the wall plate holes with a pencil.
  • For Wood Stud Walls: Drill pilot holes using a 7/32" (5.5mm) drill bit to a depth of approximately 2.2" (55mm).
  • For Solid Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill pilot holes using a 3/8" (10mm) drill bit to a depth of approximately 2.4" (60mm). Insert concrete anchors into the drilled holes until they are flush with the wall surface.

Step 4: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

  • Align the wall plate with the pilot holes.
  • Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten the lag bolts firmly with a socket wrench until the wall plate is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

Step 5: Attach TV Brackets to TV

  • Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface.
  • Select the appropriate TV screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes.
  • Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are centered and level. The hooks on the brackets should face upwards.

Step 6: Mount TV to Wall Plate

  • With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the top edge of the wall plate.
  • Gently lower the TV until the brackets are fully seated on the wall plate.
  • Pull the quick-release straps located at the bottom of the TV brackets to engage the locking mechanism, securing the TV to the wall plate. Ensure both straps are engaged.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Tilt Angle

This mount allows for a tilt adjustment of +5° to -10° to reduce glare and optimize viewing angles.

  • To adjust the tilt, gently push or pull the bottom of the TV to achieve the desired angle. The friction-based mechanism will hold the TV in place.
  • Ensure the TV is stable after adjustment.

Maintenance

  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Do not hang objects from the mount or TV.

Troubleshooting

  • TV is not level: Ensure the wall plate was installed level using the built-in bubble level. If the wall plate is level, check if the TV brackets are attached evenly to the TV. Minor adjustments can sometimes be made by slightly loosening and re-tightening the TV bracket screws.
  • TV feels unstable: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall plate lag bolts and TV bracket screws for tightness. Ensure the quick-release straps are fully engaged. Verify the wall type and stud location.
  • Difficulty tilting the TV: Ensure no cables are obstructing the tilting mechanism. The tilt mechanism is designed to hold its position, requiring a firm but gentle push or pull.
