4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame and wooden components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
- Fastener Checks: Regularly inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any loose fasteners to ensure the bed's stability and safety. This should be done at least once every three months or if any wobbling is detected.
- Slats: Ensure all mattress slats are properly seated and undamaged. Replace any broken or bent slats immediately.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions:
- Squeaking or Noise:
Cause: Loose bolts or connections, or friction between metal parts.
Solution: Systematically check and tighten all assembly bolts and screws. Apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to metal-on-metal contact points if tightening does not resolve the issue.
- Bed Wobbles or Feels Unstable:
Cause: Improper assembly, loose fasteners, or uneven floor surface.
Solution: Re-check all assembly steps to ensure correct installation. Tighten all bolts. If the floor is uneven, place shims under the bed legs to stabilize it. Ensure the bed is properly anchored to the wall if recommended.
- Staircase Feels Narrow:
Observation: Some users may find the staircase steps narrow.
Guidance: Exercise caution when using the staircase. Always maintain a firm grip and step carefully. The design is optimized for space-saving and integrated storage.
