5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water dispenser.

Cleaning the Dispenser

  1. Unplug the dispenser from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the water tank and drip tray. Empty any remaining water.
  3. Wash the water tank and drip tray with mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  4. Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
  5. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

Descaling

The dispenser features a unique descaling function using intelligent temperature cycling to prevent limescale buildup. The 'Cleaning' indicator may illuminate to suggest descaling.

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled with water.
  2. Press the 'Clean' button on the control panel. The 'Cleaning' indicator will illuminate, and the dispenser will begin an automatic descaling cycle.
  3. Allow the cycle to complete. This process helps to remove mineral deposits from the heating element.
  4. After the cycle, it is recommended to dispense and discard a full tank of water to flush out any residue.
  5. For stubborn limescale, a mild descaling solution (e.g., citric acid solution) can be used in the water tank, followed by several rinses and flushes. Consult the manufacturer for recommended descaling agents.

Filter Replacement

The premium 4-stage water filter should be replaced regularly to maintain water quality. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.

  1. Unplug the dispenser and remove the water tank.
  2. Remove the old filter from the water tank.
  3. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
  4. Insert a new Toyomi premium 4-stage water filter into the tank, ensuring it is firmly seated.
