Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your car radio stereo:
1. Removing the Factory Radio
Carefully remove the existing factory radio and associated trim panels. Use appropriate panel tools to avoid damage. Disconnect all wiring harnesses and antenna cables from the back of the factory unit.

2. Connecting the Wiring Harness
Connect the provided wiring harness to the new MAHVEC unit. Ensure all connections are secure. If your vehicle has a factory original Onstar system, you may need to plug into the AUX plug. Note that this radio does not have a CD slot or AM radio.

3. Backup Camera Installation
Install the AHD backup camera at the rear of your vehicle, typically near the license plate. Route the camera cable through the vehicle's interior to the radio unit. Connect the camera's power and video signal wires to the designated inputs on the radio harness.

4. GPS Antenna & Microphone Placement
Mount the GPS antenna on the dashboard in a location with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception. Position the external microphone near the driver for clear hands-free communication.

5. Final Assembly
Carefully slide the new radio unit into the dashboard opening. Secure it with screws and reattach all trim panels. Ensure no wires are pinched and all connections are firm.
