3. Assembly and Placement

The dotn S-3012 Sound Bar offers two primary configurations: a single long soundbar or two separate tower speakers.

3.1. Long Soundbar Configuration

  1. Align the two soundbar sections.
  2. Twist the sections together until they lock into place.
  3. Ensure the connection is secure.

This configuration is ideal for placement below your TV on a stand or mounted on a wall.

3.2. Tower Speaker Configuration

  1. Separate the two soundbar sections.
  2. Attach each section to a provided base by aligning and rotating until secure.
  3. Connect the two tower speakers using the L/R connection cable.

This configuration allows for placement on either side of your TV for a wider soundstage and 360° surround sound effect.

4. Connections

The sound bar supports multiple connection methods. Choose the one that best suits your device.

4.1. ARC (Audio Return Channel) Connection

  • Connect one end of the ARC cable to the ARC port on the sound bar.
  • Connect the other end to the HDMI ARC port on your TV. Ensure you use the HDMI port labeled 'ARC' or 'eARC' on your TV.
  • In ARC mode, you can often control the sound bar volume with your TV remote.

4.2. Optical Connection

4.4. Bluetooth 5.3 Connection

  3. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select 'dotn S-3012' from the list. Once connected, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
  5. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the sound bar.

5. Operation

The sound bar can be controlled using the buttons on the unit or the included remote control.

5.1. Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button on the sound bar or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2. Input Selection

  • Press the 'Input' button on the sound bar or remote control to cycle through available input sources (ARC, Optical, AUX, Bluetooth).

5.3. Volume Control

5.4. Equalizer (EQ) Modes

6.1. No Sound
