Setup Instructions

Operating Instructions

Starting Ice Production:

  1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Power On: Close the lid and press the ON/OFF button on the control panel. The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle.
  3. Ice Production: The first batch of nugget ice will typically be ready in approximately 5 minutes. Subsequent batches will continue to be produced as long as there is water in the reservoir and the ice basket is not full.
  4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will pause production. Remove ice to resume.
  5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level is too low, the ADD WATER indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will stop production. Add more water to resume.

Tips for Best Performance:

  • Use cold water for faster ice production.
  • Keep the lid closed during operation to maintain internal temperature.
  • Empty the ice basket regularly to ensure continuous ice production.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your ice maker.

Self-Cleaning Function:

  1. Empty Water: Ensure the water reservoir is empty.
  2. Add Water: Fill the reservoir with clean water up to the MAX line.
  3. Start Cleaning: Press and hold the CLEAN button on the control panel for 3 seconds. The cleaning cycle will begin, indicated by a flashing light.
  4. Drain Water: After the cleaning cycle completes (approximately 20 minutes), drain the water from the unit by removing the drain plug located at the bottom or side of the unit.
  5. Rinse: Rinse the reservoir with fresh water and drain again.

Manual Cleaning:

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Interior: For a more thorough cleaning, remove the ice basket. Wipe down the interior surfaces, including the water reservoir and ice chute, with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Drain Plug: Periodically check and clean the drain plug area to prevent blockages.
  • Storage: If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry, then store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting Guide
