1. Important Safeguards

4. Before First Use

5. Setup

  2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance will enter standby mode, and the display will illuminate.
  3. Insert Components: Ensure the crisper plates are correctly seated in the bottom of each cooking basket, and then slide the baskets firmly into the main unit.

The control panel features a digital display for each basket, along with touch buttons for power, temperature adjustment, time adjustment, function selection, and special features like Sync Finish, Sync Settings, and Toss Reminder.

6.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Press the Power button (U) to turn on the appliance.
  2. Select Basket: The control panel is divided into two sections, one for each basket. Select the basket you wish to program.
  3. Choose Function: Press the desired cooking function (Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Keep Warm).
  4. Adjust Temperature: Use the temperature adjustment buttons (up/down arrows) to set the desired temperature (up to 450°F).
  5. Set Time: Use the time adjustment buttons (up/down arrows) to set the desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes).
  6. Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button (▶/‖) for the selected basket to begin cooking.
  7. Auto-Pause: The cooking cycle will automatically pause if a basket is removed during operation. Reinsert the basket to resume.

6.3 Cooking Functions

  • Air Fry: Ideal for achieving crispy results with little to no oil. Use for fries, wings, chicken nuggets, etc.
  • Roast: Suitable for cooking meats, vegetables, and other items that require even cooking and browning.
  • Bake: For preparing baked goods like cakes, muffins, or casseroles.
  • Keep Warm: Maintains food at a serving temperature after cooking is complete.

6.4 Special Features

  • Sync Finish: This feature ensures that both baskets complete their cooking cycles at the same time, even if they have different cooking times and temperatures. To use, set the desired function, time, and temperature for each basket, then press the 'Sync Finish' button before starting.
  • Sync Settings: Easily duplicates the function, time, and temperature settings from one basket to the other. Useful when cooking the same food type in both baskets.
  • Toss Reminder: An audible alert and display message will prompt you to shake or toss the food in the basket during the cooking cycle, ensuring even cooking and crispiness. This feature can be enabled or disabled.
  • Air Fry Presets: The control panel includes three dedicated presets for common air-fried foods: Wings, Fries, and Frozen Snacks. Simply select the preset for quick and optimized cooking.
  • Automatic Warm Mode: After a cooking cycle completes, the appliance may automatically switch to a 'Keep Warm' mode to maintain food temperature.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Baskets and Crisper Plates: The cooking baskets and crisper plates are ceramic nonstick and dishwasher safe. For manual cleaning, wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Interior: If necessary, wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure no food debris remains.
  5. Storage: Store the cleaned and dried air fryer in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Appliance does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the outlet is functional.
  • Food not cooking evenly: Ensure not to overfill the baskets. Use the 'Toss Reminder' feature or manually shake/toss food halfway through cooking. Verify the crisper plate is correctly installed.
  • White smoke coming from the appliance: This may indicate that fat from food has dripped onto the heating element. Clean the baskets and crisper plates thoroughly after each use. Ensure no excessive oil or grease is present.
  • Appliance pauses during cooking: This is normal if a basket is removed. Reinsert the basket firmly to resume the cooking cycle.
